Graney Qualifies for World Junior Team
William and Mary freshman Betsy Graney punched her ticket for the IAAF World Junior Championships Friday evening, finishing second in the 3,000m steeplechase at the USAT&F Junior National Championships. Qualifying for the IAAF World Junior Championships will give Graney one more opportunity to add to an already-stellar freshman campaign. In addition to resetting the College’s freshman record in the steeplechase four different times and earning all-region honors, Graney also won gold at the Colonial Relays, silver at the CAA Championships, and bronze at the ECAC Championships.
