Multiple Wins at the Ram Invitational
Brandon Oliver put the shot a career-best 48’ 5.25” to win while Dan Klatzkin was second with a mark of 47’ 7.25”. James Picard ran 4:00.30 to win the 1,500m run with Brian Sklodowski in 4:04.32 and Lewis Woodard in 4:04.48. In the 2,000m steeplechase, senior Rob Dennis ran 5:57.80 for the win and Sean Sewell came in 6:07.47 and classmate Andrew Mearns qualified for the USAT&F Junior National Championships with his fifth-place. Doug Zimmer won the decathlon. In the 400m, David Blitzer ran 50.35 for fifth place becoming the 10th-fastest runner in school history with Florian Cords in 50.75. In the 200m dash, Chris McIntosh . ran 22.72 seconds while Tom Mulcahy threw the discus 143’ 9”. Chad Cochran was fifth in the 110m hurdles with a time of 17.71 seconds, and the team of Blitzer, McIntosh, Cords, and Matt Heidman was third in the 4x100m relay with a time of 45.13 seconds. More

Katie Guevel scored 4,941 points in the heptathlon to qualify for the ECAC Championships and set another freshman record which ranks her third all-time at the College. KB Brower also set a personal-best in the long jump, leaping 16’ 3.75”. Rebecca Mikulas also jumped to ninth on one of the College’s all-time top-performers lists, throwing the discus 129’ 8” to place third in the day’s competition. Carly Morse was fourth in the discus, throwing 127’ 4”, and was also third in the shot put with a put of 41’ 7.25”. Ashley Williams took fifth with a put of 41’ 0.5”. Ashley Madonick ran 57.18 in the 400m dash while Lynn Morelli took gold in the 1,500m run with a time of 4:40.60 and Rebecca Ward ran 4:57.81 for fourth place. The 4x100m relay of Dana Harvey, Madonick, Mallory Hogan and Sarah Rybarczyk was second in 50.07. More
