Leading the way for W&M at GMU was Dan Klatzkin the shot put who earned the first of his two silver medals with a personal-record showing. He put the shot an even 15 meters (49-2.5) for the first time ever, surpassing his previous best by nearly five inches. Klatzkin also was second in the discus, throwing for 45.19m (148-3). The women were led by Alyssa Gaeto who had a personal-best leap in the triple jump of 11.12 meters (36-5.75) to tie Jessica Unger '98 for eighth all-time in school history. She also competed in the long jump, taking ninth on the day with a leap of 5.17m (16-11.5). More on the women.
