Colonials Begin
A number of nice performances on day #1. Lian Anastasia-Murphy was 2nd in the steeple in 9:21.91 and qualified for the USA, jr. meet while Betsy Graney opened with a victory in the event which earned her a shot at the NCAA regional meet with her 10:47.46. In the 1500, Brian Sklodowski was 2nd in 3:48.64 and qualified for the IC4A meet while Katie Guevel ran 14.31 in the 100 hurdles for 5th and an ECAC time. The qualifiers continued with Kiernan Lofland earning an IC4A jump with a 4.80 in the pole vault as well as Lewis Woodard who also qualified with his 14:33.76 (that race was won by Ed Moran in 14:02) as did Richard Morris, Max Werner and Andrew Midland in the 10K.
