50 Cent Trained by Former W&M Coach
While I can't say I enjoy his music (I sound like my parents!), some who visit this blog might be interested to know that former W&M Jay Cardeillo (above left) coach now trains 50 Cent and other celebrities. Jay started at Montclair State (NJ) because he only jumped one year in high school. He then transferred to Abilene Christian for one year before moving again this time to Arkansas. While he jumped well there he hurt his back and after having surgery transfered again to W&M where he offered to help Dan Stimson coach the jumps at W&M, since he couldn't jump anymore, and did a great job. Jennifer Walker made the indoor NCAA meet as a frosh in the triple jump. More (Picture from New York Daily News)
