W&M Invitational Starts Outdoor Qualifiers
In the first outdoor meet, four athletes qualified for the IC4A/ECAC meets. It will be a big loss to lose seniors Ashley Williams, who PRed in the short and Nicol Kazuba who likewise won the pole vault. Joining them at the ECAC meet will be soph Natalie Baird who finished 2nd in the discus. More
All-American Patterson Wilhelm was the lone IC4A qualifier with a PR of 3:48 in the 1500 meters. More

Grey Finishes Fifth in 5K
Jon Grey earned his second All-American stripe by running a brilliant race at the NCAA championships where he finished fifth. Grey started out virtually in the dead last position and then moved up slowly throughout the race. At 13:46.12, it is also a new PR for the junior.

Grey Makes NCAA Meet
All-American Jon Grey has made the NCAA meet in the 5K with his 13:52. Even better is that it was a solo performance which he won by 61 seconds, so look for more improvement this weekend. I'll put meet links up soon.

Men 9th, Women 8th at IC4A/ECAC Meets
The men finished ninth at the IC4A meet based on the strength of the distance team. The DMR was 2nd in 9:44.80 (see video above) w. Liam Anastasia-Murphy, Chris McIntosh, Harry Miller and Chris Tyson. Also earning All-East were Sean Mahoney who was 4th in the 1000 meters (2:29.32), Miller in the 800 meters (1:51.43), Lewis Woodward in the mile in 4:10.74 and Ben Massam, 6th in the 5K in 14:23.55. Also in Bostonm the women finished eighth in the ECAC meet with Ashley Williams earning All-East honors w. her 4th in the shop put in 46-11.75, Meghan Burns was 2nd in the 3K in 9:30.95, Nicole Kazuba was 3rd in the pole vault in 13-1.5. More and more
